Jan Alene Leite

Jan Alene Leite was born on 8/15/49 in Volga, SD and passed away on 2/27/2026 of pulmonary fibrosis. She was preceded in death by parents Arthur and Unalda (Dawson) Leite, brothers James and Michael. She is survived by her sister-in-law Pamela (Michael), niece Erica, nephew Nathan, cousins and many friends. 

Jan graduated from Sioux Valley High School in Vulga, SD. She continued her education receiving a BA in music at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN; Mechanical Engineering at The University of Iowa; and an MBA through The National University in San Diego. Jan had a successful career in her 34+ years at 3M Company.

Jan enjoyed nature, wilderness, traveling, golf, reading, gardening and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Stillwater, MN on 3/20/26.  Visitation from 10-11, service starting at 11:00. Memorials preferred to the Humane Society. Jan's plea, "take care of animals and the environment as they need to thrive.".
