Janice was born in Harvey, IL on May 6, 1940 and passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025 in Shingle Springs, CA at the age of 85. She attended Our Lady of Peace High School in St. Paul, MN and the University of Minnesota. She moved to California in the early 1970s, and retired with her husband in Arizona. In her later years, she resided in Shingle Springs, CA with her daughter.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband, James Marabella; and parents, Harold & Genevieve Brockman.

She is survived by her children, James (Jennifer Grantham) Marabella, Jacqueline (Steve) Wildblood, and Juliann (Bob Balding) Marabella; grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah, Kaitla, Ryan, and Nicholas; sister, Jacqueline Thurston; and many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Friday, August 22nd at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, with visitation beginning at 9:30am. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2980 Helen St N, St Paul. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Arizona Humane Society or Paw Posse Animal Rescue.
