He was baptized at Christ at Hammond First Baptist Church For the Deaf. He attended Metro School for the Deaf.
He leaves to mourn a devoted wonderful mother Catrina Hooper and father Perry Sterling, Jr. One grandmother Sandra Hooper, great-grandparents Mrs. Almeeter and Sammie Hooper, Sr. One great-uncle Sammie Hooper, Jr.; one aunt Dinah Hayes; two uncles Rasaan Hooper and kenneth Hayes; one sister Kamilya Hooper; four brothers Orlando, Perry, Timothy, Juwan. Cousins Catrice, Sammie III, Jamilah, David, Troy, Samia, Fatima and Jada who will all miss him. He also leaves behind a host of other family and friends; step brothers and sister; friends, Cindy and Travis. And five people he admired most were Avery Dominques, James Redmond and Essex Tillmon, Theodore Sr. and Louise Williams.
