Jay'Shaun La’Omarion Parrott-Mims

Age 14 of Saint Paul, Minnesota; passed away suddenly on May 15, 2022.

Born April 18, 2008 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to the union of Patrick Parrot-Mims and Jasmine Streeter.

Jay’Shaun’s grandfather Daryl Parrott and great-great grandmother Beatrice Mason preceded him in death.

Jay’Shaun was born into this world with Autism, so he attended a special needs school called Bridgeview. Because of his special needs his grandparents, Isiah Richardson and Aveatrice Gaines, assisted with his upbringing. He was surrounded with so much love.

Jay’Shaun loved visiting the zoo, watching Caillou on his phone, riding bikes, and eating pizza and chips. Jay’Shaun was excited about school, he would stand in the window every morning waiting on the bus (even when there was no school). Jay’Shaun’s smile lights up the room. He touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. He was so loved by everyone.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father Patrick Parrot-Mims of Waseca, MN; his mother Jasmine Streater of Saint Paul, MN; his three brothers Tristan Gaffney, Javon Streater, and Jayven Parrott; two sisters Mesmeriya Parrott-Mims, and Merlaya Parrott; grandfather Isiah Richardson of Minneapolis, MN; grandmother Aveatrice Gaines of Saint Paul, MN and Patricia Mims of Waseca, MN; great-grandmothers Carolyn Gaines of Cahokia, IL and Pauline Kunn of Minneapolis, MN; as well as a host of Uncles, Aunties, and cousins.

The family of Jay’Shaun La’Omarion Parrott-Mims wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to them during this hour of bereavement.

Service for Jayshaun will be held at Bradshaw (1078 Rice St.) on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 12:00 PM with visitation an hour prior.

Repast at Archangel Michael Hall (962 Forest St. N; St. Paul, MN 55106) at 4:00PM

Interment at Elmhurst cemetery.
