Jean Ann Carr

Age 68 of Hugo - Beloved Mom and Grandma 

A devoted member of her community and cherished by her family, Jean will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to her faith and her passion for connection. She poured her heart into her many hobbies, particularly quilting, and the friends she made through those groups were vital to her. The friendships she made through her various activities were something that meant a lot to her. Above all, Jean adored her grandchildren, taking immense pride in supporting their sports and activities and celebrating every one of their accomplishments. Her faith, cultivated through her involvement in Bible study and church attendance, was a cornerstone of her life. 

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen "Steve" Carr; parents, Robert and Edith. 

She is survived by her children, Amy (Allen) Wardell and George (Ali); grandchildren, Nora, Violet, and Henry; sister, Kathy Giles; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Celebration of Life 11am Saturday, February 7th at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, with visitation beginning one hour prior. Interment at Withrow Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Minnesota Quilters, Inc, 253 State Street St. Paul, MN 55107-1612
