Our Loving Mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma
Age 87, of Maplewood (formerly of St. Paul)

Joined her loving husband, Gordon Walter of 58 years, along with many family members and friends, in God’s arms on January 22, 2022. She will be dearly missed by her 3 children Dave (Sandy), Dan (Cathy), Cindy (Jeff) Kreis; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer, Lauren, Amanda, Matt, Joanna, Thom, Michael, David and Joe; 7 Great-grandchildren; brother, John (Jack) Holstrom as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Growing up on the East Side, Jeanne treasured her forever friends from Johnson High School, her long-time involvement with Arlington Hills Lutheran Church plus many wonderful neighbors and friends that surrounded her.

Jeanne had endless love for her family and delighted in making things extra special for all of us.   Over the years, she so enjoyed traveling on many trips with Gordie visiting their children around the country, numerous cruises with friends, and extra special times together at their favorite Wyndham resorts.

She will always be remembered for being a kind, caring and loving person who had the most beautiful smile that lit our hearts and will always remain in our memories.

Memorial service Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022 at 2:30 pm, Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, 1115 Greenbrier St., St. Paul. Visitation starting at 1:00 pm prior to the service at the church. A live stream of the service will also be available at: https://www.ahlc-stp.org/media/ In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Arlington Hills Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
