Jeffery David Hahn
Age 55 of Willernie MN passed away on July 20th 2025.
Jeff was born on July 22, 1969 in Saint Paul, adopted to Dave and Judy Hahn. Jeff graduated from East Central high school in 1987 and went on to many rewarding careers starting in Kansas City working for the airline moving back to Minnesota to work at budget rent a car, from there he attended Brown Institute to pursue his broadcasting degree. He found his passion when he started working for St. John's Hospital taking many certification classes to receive his chief boiler operations license.
In 1996 Jeff married Laura, they settled in Willernie, where they had their daughter Rachel. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, especially mowing the lawn and having campfires at the cabin in Sandstone surrounded by friends and family, this was his utopia, his happy place.
Jeff was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, which paid off when they won the Super Bowl in 2020 against the San Francisco 49ers. His words when they won were "it only took 50 years for me to celebrate." One of Jeff's favorite family trips was going to Myrtle beach, driving through the mountains, like he was in a race car. Jeff was always up for an adventure.
People who met and knew Jeff with his unique and soothing voice, infectious smile ,big hearted loving man who made an impact on everyone's life.
He is survived by wife Laura of 28 years, daughter Rachel, parents David and Judy, sister Michele Keyport (Chris), Father and Mother in-law Richard and Norma Newberg, sister in-law Julie Weinberg (Tim), Gail Cavner (Stan), and nieces, nephews, cousins .
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday August 10th, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 at Jimmy's Event Center, 3565 Labore Rd, Vadnais Heights, MN 55110.
