Jeffery A. Blixt

Jeffery Blixt, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on May 12 while he and Bev were visiting their daughter Ally in Florida.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Charles "Chuck" Blixt. He is survived by his mom Nancy Blixt of Eagan; wife Bev Blixt of Maplewood; daughter Ally Blixt of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son Matt Blixt of Maplewood; brothers Charlie (Elaine) Blixt of Erhard, MN, Matt (Joy) Blixt of Collingwood, Ontario; along with several nieces and nephews. Jeff was the owner and President of Inspecta-Homes and spent many years in the mortgage and real estate industry. He graduated from Augsburg College in 1977 where he won numerous titles in wrestling, including an All-American Title in 1977. He was also a team captain in 1977 and was inducted into the Augsburg Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001. Jeff 's love for his family and friends was unconditional, and Ally and Matt were his entire world. He was an amazing son, brother, husband and dad. Jeff 's favorite place in the world was Sanibel Island, FL, where he spent every December with family and friends for the last 46 years. Jeff was an avid skier during the winter and enjoyed sailing his sailboat on White Bear Lake during the summer. Jeff 's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. in Stillwater, MN. Casual clothing preferred in honor of Jeff.

In lieu of flowers, Bev requests that everyone does one thing within the next 12 months that you have been putting off "until later" because we are not guaranteed tomorrow. This can be big or small, and please feel free to share with Bev.
