Jill Marie Martin

Age 62, of Lake Elmo, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2025.

Preceded in death by mother, Judy Bergner and brother, Kirk Bergner.

She will be sadly missed by sons, Ryan (Jess) and Brennan (Janie); Jill’s only love, Dan; grandchildren, Talan, Jaxon and Charli; father, Roger (Nancy) Bergner; mother-in-law, Alice Martin; brothers, Kent (Shelly) Bergner and Kraig Bergner; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Jill was a beloved member of the Lake Elmo and St. Croix Valley area for over 40 years. She took great pride in the life she built, cherishing her home, family, and work above all else. For more than four decades, she was a dedicated employee of Lynskey & Clark Co. where her hard work and commitment left a lasting impact.

An avid walker, Jill found joy in her daily morning strolls, often spotted picking up debris along the way, always striving to make her neighborhood a little cleaner. She never missed a loved one’s birthday or special occasion, ensuring each was marked with a heartfelt phone call or card.

Jill had a deep love for sports, especially hockey, and was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Wild and the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Her passion for was seen through the years cheering on her sons and grandchildren. 

She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, positive outlook, dedication, and unwavering love for those around her.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday. March 16, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater.

Spring flowers are welcomed by the family.
