Marchio, Joan Shirley [Stewart]

Age 95, of Maplewood

Joan passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was married for 59 years to and preceded in death by her husband Daniel Marchio; son Richard; and brother Bill.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Hegman (Gary Mithun), John (Connie), and Gerri Hogan; grandchildren, Jeff, Jon (Melissa), and Stephanie Hegman, Danielle (Kenn) Town, Sarah Marchio, Gia (Tony) Johnston, Tony Marchio, Dana (Thomas) Johnston, Dean Hogan; and 4 great-granchildren, Francesca, Charlotte, Lu Johnston, and Carter Hogan; sister, Dolores Pilla; sisters-in-law Mary Jane, Maureen, and Josephine, & many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at St. Jerome’s (380 ROSELAWN AVE.) at 11:00 AM with visitation an hour prior.

Interment at St. John’s of Little Canada
