John Egan, 87 of White Bear Lake passed away peacefully on May 23rd, 2025. He was a loving friend, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and golfing buddy!
As a true St Paul kid, he proudly attended Holy Spirit grade school, St Thomas Academy and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He spent his professional life in sales and business and had a natural love of being with people. John always loved to have fun!
John, who grew up in Highland Park, honed his golfing skills while a caddy at Town and Country. He was a young golfing protégée winning many tournaments and was even invited at age 11 to golf alongside President (then General) Eisenhower. He enjoyed the sport with his many golfing buddies for his entire life.
John is preceded in death by his second wife Judy Cooper, grandchild Connor, great grandchild Kaladin and his parents Florence and John. He will be greatly missed by his children from first wife Arlette; Jean, John, Suzanne (Steve) and Dan (Leslie), step children Jo(Jeff), Jaime(Kevin) , grandchildren Hans(Jordan), Emma( Isaac), Lizzy, Dylan (Shannon), Sierra(Milan), Bella, Duke, Alex, Hannah, Jack, Lily, Tyler, Mitchell, Wyatt and 5 great-grandchildren.
All are invited to a mass honoring John’s life with a lunch to follow at the church.
