John Dwight Higbee

Of Stillwater, MN, passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 83. He was born on April 2, 1942, in Albert Lea, MN, to Dr. John and Lucille Higbee. In 1959, he moved with his family to the Stillwater area.

John graduated from Stillwater High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1966. After his service, he began a long and dedicated career at Andersen Windows, retiring in 2003 after 35 years.

He had a fondness for Coca-Cola and Big Macs, and he enjoyed woodworking, photography, classic country music, and collecting computers. His unmistakable laugh could be heard from miles away.

John is survived by his sister, Tamra Roth and two nieces, Heidi Roth (David Sandri) and Emily Hart (Keith Hart), who will remember him with love.

A graveside ceremony will be held at Rentz Cemetery in West Lakeland Township on Wednesday, August 6, at 11:00 a.m.
