John Louis O’Neal passed peacefully away on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the age of 83, following multiple health challenges. Born on February 16, 1942, in Stillwater, Minnesota, John was a lifelong resident of his beloved hometown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert O’Neal and Helen O’Neal Ridgway. John is survived by his devoted wife, Connie; his children, Shannon (Michael) Sullivan, Kimberly (Randy) Wiederin, and Patrick O’Neal; his stepchildren, Bryan (Christina Keefe) Johnson and Kale (Caryn) Johnson; six grandchildren, Ashley (Eric), Brendan (Bailey), Logan, Devyn (Adam), Sydney (Brock), Paige. four step-grandchildren, Dakotah, Aiden, Lainey, Dawson. five great-grandchildren, Sophie, Kaden, Teddy, Lucy, and Isla.

John dedicated over 35 years to his career at 3M. He was an avid golfer and an active member of the Stillwater Country Club. For the past 25 years, he and Connie cherished spending their winters together at their home in Arizona, where they enjoyed the sunshine and the game of golf.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN, on Tuesday November 18, at 4 pm, with visitation beginning prior to the service at 2 pm
