Of Marine on St. Croix. Loving husband of Carol for 66 years; dear father of Laura Richter-O'neill and Rolf Peik Richter; beloved grandfather of Charles John and Casey O'neill; sisters, Marion Good and Helen Appell. John was a creative research chemist who also served his country in the Army during WWII, working on the atom bomb at Oak Ridge, TN. He became a Quaker, a peace activist and was an avid Cub fan and fisherman. A Meeting For Worship will be held Sunday, 4:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior. Burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Quaker Earthcare Witness, 173-B N. Prospect St., Burlington, Vt. 05401.
