John Paul (Jack)

Age 85, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on August 30, 2021, shortly after a diagnosis of Mesothelioma.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Yarusso; and dear aunt Lillian Feldick.

He is survived by his loving wife, June, of 61 years. John was a proud father of two daughters, Mary Jo (Tom) McDonough and Karen (John) Patterson; grand-children, Marco McDonough, Maria (Andy) Rauen, Jacleen Patterson (fiancé Cal Lawton), and Johnna Patterson (special friend, Daniel McKinney); great grand-children, Reed and Rylee Rauen; loving sister, Sharon (Ron) Olsen, nieces and nephews; and many Italian cousins.

John was a proud union electrician for 40 years and belonged to the IBEW Local Union 110 for 64 years. John was a man of remarkable character, whose values centered around family, friends, and colleagues. He and June enjoyed traveling, golfing, and spending time at the lake in their retirement.

A Celebration of Life and Funeral Mass for John will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 11:00am, at Bradshaw Stillwater (2800 Curve Crest Blvd.), with visitation one hour prior. Luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
