Jolene Monforte

Jolene K. Monforte (Prechel), 55, of Eagan, MN, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 4, 2016.
Jolene was born Sept. 21, 1960, in Redwood Falls, MN. She resided there till age 16 when she
moved to Waubun, MN and helped her family operate Hoot Owl Resort. In 2000 she moved to
Eagan, MN where she met the love of her life, Michael Monforte.
Jolene's personality was vibrant and full of life. At times she was even a bit goofy, but never
ashamed. She loved unconditionally and would do anything she could to help somebody in
need. It was clear to everyone who knew her that she had an internal desire to assist others. It
was likely this desire that led her to be an organ donor.
Jolene was excited about her job at Regions Hospital as an administrative assistant. On
weekends she could often be found working on art projects and drinking wine at her and Mike's
oasis up north. She enjoyed gardening, making "masterpieces" out of her thrift store finds, and
spending time with her two sons. She especially loved "Piper time" with her one-year-old
granddaughter.
She is survived by husband, Michael Monforte; parents, Eugene and Marge Prechel; son and
daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Dawn Coudron; son, Chris Coudron; sister, Jan Albanese; sister,
Linda Anderson; and brother, Steven Prechel.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lydia and Erhart Krause, Edna Griffith and
William Prechel.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9th at the Bradshaw
Celebration of Life Center. A visitation will precede the service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Address:
4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Twp, MN 55127. Those attending should know that the
35E Hwy 96 exit and bridge will be closed on Saturday and to plan an alternative route.
