Joseph Everett “Red” Briesath, born on July 28, 1973 in St. Paul, Minnesota, died on July 21, 2021 after a recent cancer diagnosis. He is survived by his mother, Judy Briesath; father, Bob Briesath; siblings, Bob (Jacquie) Briesath, Teresa (Paul) Ovalle; niece and nephews, Emily (Tom) Klenotic, Ethan (Jeanette) Briesath, Joe (Julia) Fornwalt, Pat Fornwalt; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joe grew up in Vadnais Heights and graduated from White Bear Lake High School. He was well-known in the rave scene as the “giver of stickers.” He was a prolific online gamer, and loved his job as a quality assurance specialist at HED Cycling Products. Joe loved to spend time at Running Aces playing Omaha, and also enjoyed golf, disc golf and paintball. Red was, through and through, a free spirit, and he will be missed.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, July 28 at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
