Joseph Mark Brosious

Joseph Mark Brosious, 77, of Stillwater, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at his home on February 13, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Stillwater, Joe was born on September 24, 1948 to James E. and Mary "Joyce" Brosious. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1966. After graduation he honorably served his country in the United States Navy, an experience that shaped his sense of service and duty, also serving many years as a volunteer fireman for the Lower Saint Croix Valley Fire Department in Afton, and with the Friends of Youth Bingo at the American Legion.

Following his military service, he built a respected career as a dental technician; at one time owning his own lab. Known for his professionalism, good nature, and dedication to his craft, he took pride in his work and teaching others the trade, earning him the admiration of colleagues and coworkers alike.

On December 4, 1971 Joseph and Donna (Kogler) were married and settled into their family home where they've resided since.

In his late twenties he took up daily jogging which became a lifelong physical and mental health lifestyle, traveling and participating in many races and marathons over the years. He enjoyed camping trips, a good campfire, and being outdoors in the sunshine. He also enjoyed hanging in his Man Cave watching sports as an avid fan, and listening to the music that he loved so much.

Above all, Joe was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and loyal friend. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends and found great joy in connecting with others. He loved telling stories, sharing music and a good joke, meeting new people and would strike up conversation with anyone who entered his orbit. 

Joseph will be remembered for his friendly and warm character, adventurous spirit, and mischievous sense of humor. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna; daughter Leslie (Derec) Strapon, grandchildren Wyatt and Evelyn; son Ryan (Dori) Brosious, grandchildren Willow and Fischer; siblings James (Tari) Brosious, Nancy (Steve) Aronson, Jerrold Brosious; and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Joseph's life will be held May 9, 2026 10AM - 1PM at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Stillwater.
