Joseph William Eng

Joseph “Joey” Eng, age 39, passed away on September 30, 2026, at his home in Mankato, Minnesota.

Joe was born on June 15, 1987, in Shakopee, Minnesota, to Shelly Gruetzmacher and Michael Eng Jr. He grew up in the area and graduated from school in Lake Crystal, Minnesota.

An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, Joe loved spending time in nature. More than anything, he was a loving father, brother, and friend. He was the kind of guy who made everyone laugh, even at his own expense, and he always had a weird fact to share with those around him. He will forever be missed and remembered.

Joe is survived by his wife, Baily Kahle; his children, Ryley, Remi, and Kahley; his father, Michael Eng; his three brothers, Karstein, Michael, and Danial; and his sisters-in-laws, LeAnn, Abigail, and Carly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelly (Oma), and his beloved son, Regun.
