Joyce was fiercely independent, loyal to her family and friends, compassionate and strong willed. She saw beauty in the world and recognized it through her photography, pencil work and paintings. She loved all animals great and small. We're sure she will meet them on her next journey. Preceded in death by her Sonnenberg clan, parents, three sisters and Cat, River, Moody, Gypsy, Simmy, and Zippy. She was a mother to Wayne and Tom; grandmother to Laura, Lexie, Sarah, Molly, Patrick, and Maggie; great-grandmother to Stephanie, Monica, Gabrielle, Etta, Jovia, Cash, Georgia, Hunter, and Cecelia; great-great-grandmother to Alyce. A special thank you to Allina Hospice, Moe and Fola, and Morning Glory Home Care, Theresa, Rebecca, Debbie, and others. A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2016. Memorials preferred to Animal Humane Society, 845 Meadow Lane N., Golden Valley MN 55422.
