Joyce Elaine (Maruska, Clifford) Price of Woodbury, MN passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2026.

Joyce was born May 8, 1934 in to William and Alice Maruska. She grew up in Duluth and graduated from Central High School in 1952.

On May 16, 1953 she married Alexander "Sandy" Clifford.

They had 3 children, Susan, Patti and Steven.

Unfortunately Sandy passed away as a young man in 1966.

She went to work at the Human Development Center in Duluth and continued to raise her 3 young children.

Joyce married William,(Bill) Price in 1970 and soon, the family moved to Germany as Bill was in the USAF at the time. Joyce and Bill had a son together, Richard, during their time in Germany

The family spent next 3 years traveling throughout Europe. During the family's travels she was able to see familiar sights she had seen before and visit with people she and Sandy had seen when they were in Germany in the mid 1950's while Sandy was a member of the US Army Military Police.

She spent the balance of her career at the Electrical Workers Union 242 on London Ave. in Duluth.

After retirement she moved to the Twin Cities to be closer to her children and her Grandchildren.

She treasured her enduring lifelong relationships with people like her best friend Joan Kucker....they truly had a bond that was inseparable. Rose, her England pen pal since age 15 and her "Sewing Club" that kept a group of friends together throughout their lives.

Joyce spent the last 6 years in Woodbury where she was able to enjoy her children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren as well as playing cards and bingo.

She is survived by sisters Arlene and Doris and brothers Richard and Gary, daughter Patti and sons Steven and Richard. In addition to 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Joyce was a dedicated sister, wife, mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

A memorial service will take place on Sunday, October 18th at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center in Stillwater at 12p.m. with a visitation beginning at 11a.m.
