Knudsen, June R.
Born in Cleveland, MN on June 21, 1919 to Alfred and Hattie Rademacher. Passed away on January 15, 2017. June had started working at an early age doing finger waving of hair and cleaning homes. She went on to work at Jolly Green Giant, Honeywell, and as a housekeeper and caregiver. She loved to play cards, sew, dance, cook and listen to Daniel O'Donnell. Preceded in death by infant son, Junior Kost, daughter, Elizabeth Samuelson, and her partner of 40 years, Rolland Williams (Ron). Survived by brother, Ray Gilsrud; sister, Phyllis Johnson; grandchildren, Debbie Dobrodziej (Ted), Brenda Johnson (Mark), Randy Kumpula, Johnny Kumpula (Pam) and Sean Samuelson (Laura Elhard); 9 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; John and Mary Kumpula, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Service Saturday, January 21st at 1:30 PM at MINNEHAHA COMMUNION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4101 37th Ave. So. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation Friday, January 20th from 4-7 PM at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave So. and one hour prior to the service at church.
