Age 30, of Mahtomedi, passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2025.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Violet and Richard Larson; great-uncle, John Meslow; and cousin, Peter Meslow.

She will be deeply missed by parents, Dave and Lori; sister, Dana (Al) Orlando; nieces, Ellie & Frankie; grandparents, Bob and Karen Meslow; so many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kara was a talented, fun-loving woman. Her smile lit up the whole room. She was an outstanding golfer at Mahtomedi HS and a Division 1 player. She received the Presidential Academic Team Award and was on the Hip Hop Dance Team at North Dakota State University. Kara loved writing music, singing and had a strong Christian faith.

A celebration of Kara’s life will be Tuesday, December 23, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi with visitation one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Camp Odayin
