Karen Lee (Davidsen) Reier

Age 76, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on April 8, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Elizabeth Davidsen; and brother, John “Jack” Davidsen.

She will be sadly missed by husband, Jim; daughters, Amy (Brian) Scheel and Joelle (Tom) Flug; grandchildren, Ethan, Sydney, Isabella and Audrey; her Project Caring family; and all of the students and families that she had the honor of teaching in the Stillwater Area School District.

Karen grew up in St. Paul, MN and received her Undergraduate Degree from UW-River Falls.  She loved her time at Lake Elmo Elementary, where she taught for 38 years before retiring in 2008.  In retirement she loved to garden, cook, and spend time with family and friends. Karen’s friends and family feel blessed that she was, and always will be, a part of their lives.  Her warm and loving spirit will not be forgotten.

Karen’s family would like to thank Project Caring for their generosity and kindness. The devotion, care, and love they so freely gave to Karen and her family is profoundly appreciated.

A gathering of family and friends, where all are welcome, will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater.
