Age 85

Passed away peacefully on July 24, 2020. Katie was a nun in the Franciscan Community of Rochester in her early adulthood and was a teacher and principal. After she left the community, lived a life of simplicity and worked as city meter reader and house cleaner. She enjoyed outdoor exercise, particularly golfing and bike riding. Katie was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Carlotta; brother, Steven (Bonnie), sister-in-law Marilyn; and beloved dog, Mimi. She is survived by her brother, Richard; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends, including Mary and Jim Heymans. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Wednesday, July 29 at ST. MARY OF THE LAKE, 4690 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake.
