Kathleen Susan (Kaase) Dow, age 78 of Cushing and St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in her daughter's home on August 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Emma; siblings, Charlotte Johnson, Chuck Kaase, Kris Redman, Mary Kaase. She will be dearly missed by those who survive her: children, Tammy (Mark) Nagel, Kim (Bob) Hekele, Kelly (Don) Gosselin; grandchildren, Mitchell (Alyssa) Nagel, Rachel (Bryce) Fanning, Emily Hekele, Kyle Hekele, Courtney Gosselin, Corey Gosselin, Carissa Gosselin; great-grandson, Liam Fanning; siblings, Roger Kaase, Joan McDonough.
Kathy died peacefully just two short days after the anniversary of the death of her beloved Elvis Presley.
Kathy put those she loved first, always, and forever. She raised three amazing girls on her own, while building the NSP Credit Union and ending her 30 year career as the CEO. She treated each member of the Credit Union as if they were family. Upon retiring she moved to her happy place by Lake Alexander. You could find her there with her Minnesota Twins gear on at anytime of the year. Kathy never let a birthday or anniversary go by without sending cards to all those she loved. She would calculate mailing times to make sure it got there ON your special day, not before and not after. Kathy adored her seven grandchildren more than anything. Her dream of becoming a great grandma became a reality just 49 days before she passed and she loved every minute with him. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids. Courtney and Carissa were amazing caregivers in her final days and, according to her, were the only ones that could really take care of her. Kathy will be remembered for her love and kindness to all. We love and miss you already mom, grandma, great grandma. You made us who we are today and you will be in our hearts forever.
