Kathy was born July 19, 1944 in Hastings, Nebraska. Preceded in death by parents Robert and Marjorie Ashbach. Survived by brothers Jerry (Meg) and Dan (Laurie), children Michelle (Todd) Jesaitis and Rick (Catherine) MacChesney, and six grandchildren. Kathy spent her whole life as a teacher and friend. She was an active member of her community and her church. Funeral service will be at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1900 7th St NW, New Brighton at 11:00am Friday, July 10th. A visitation at the church will precede the service, beginning at 9:30am. Private interment at Roselawn Cemetery. A celebration of Kathy's life will take place at her home the evening of the tenth, beginning at 3:00 pm.
