Keith R. Belmont   1970-2025

Keith Belmont, 54, of Falcon Heights, MN passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Oct. 26, 2025. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, LeAnne; his children, A.J., Julia, and Fox; his mother, Nancy; his stepfather, Larry; and many friends and family.

Although he was a history major with dreams of joining the Peace Corps, Keith was always drawn to computers and technology. He worked in the IT field for nearly 30 years. For the past five years, he was employed by Oracle as a systems engineer. When he wasn't tinkering with networks and computers, Keith enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games and board games, blowing glass, shooting pool, biking, and swimming. He eventually participated in several triathlons and a half marathon. He also enjoyed the chaos that came from LeAnne’s career as a canine behavior consultant. He was often found walking a foster dog, volunteering to help in classes, or enthusiastically encouraging and helping with whatever was needed for the latest special needs dog or rescue organization.

Keith was an intelligent, compassionate man who had the ability to put anyone at ease. He was kind to others and generous with his heart. He was also a bit of a nerd, an endearing quality that only contributed to his lovability and unique personality. He had an incredible sense of humor, combined with a sharp wit and an affinity for dad jokes. To be around Keith meant you felt listened to, cared for, and likely laughing at some surprising deadpan phrase or a joke that came out of his mouth.

He had tremendous heart and gentle soul that showed in how he interacted with others. He was completely devoted to his wife and family, kind and loving towards his mother, and a friend to many. He showed compassion to those less fortunate than himself, and was the type of person who everyone liked. Keith was the rock and the anchor of his family. He supported the passions and crazy ideas that allowed others to thrive, whether it was fostering kids, rescuing dogs, helping homeschool, or just quietly supporting his family while they ran down the rabbit hole to find the next neurospicy, free-spirited adventure.

Keith was taken from this world too soon, and we will forever feel the profound loss. In honor of his life, donations can be made in his memory to one of the following charities:
