Kermit Nordeen

Kermit Arvid Nordeen, age 96, of Stillwater, Minnesota, passed away on May 21, 2016. Born in Sunrise, MN, he was preceded in death by wife, Gladys; parents, Arvid and Emily (Swanson) Nordeen of Sunrise; sisters, Edith Anderson, Hazel Magnuson, and Edna Goranson; brothers, Walter, Albert, Archie, and Roger. Survived by son, Michael J. (Daphyn) Nordeen of Stillwater; grandson, Bradley (Diana) Nordeen of West St. Paul; and granddaughter, Michelle Nordeen of Stillwater. Kermit graduated from Northwestern Bible College and Hardin-Simmons University. From college, he went on to pastor at churches in Kingsburg, SD; Springfield, SD; Fosston; Eveleth; and Waconia. He was a member at Crosswinds Community Church in Stillwater, and enjoyed many hours as a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Home.
Memorial service 6PM Monday, June 13 at Crosswinds Community Church, 9125 Newgate Avenue North, Stillwater, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials to Good Samaritan Home preferred.
