Ku Kpaw Soe

Age 13, of Saint Paul Minnesota, passed away tragically on June 10, 2023

Ku Soe was a wonderful son, brother and friend. He was a patient person and quite helpful around the house. From a very young age he cared for the needs and wants of his family. He had recently enrolled in a summer initiatives program designed to provide high school graduates with college scholarships. His early enrollment would aid him in his efforts to apply for scholarships and colleges. He knew his parents would not be able to provide him with financial or academic help for college, so he always did his best to seize every chance available to him to further his excellent education and one day become an engineer.

Ku leaves behind devastated parents, Lay Htoo and Ku Paw; sisters, Hser Paw, and Julia Htoo; little brother, Alex Shiney; and countless more friends and loved ones.

A funeral service for Ku will be held Thursday, June 22 at 11am at Ebenezer Karen Baptist Church with visitation an hour prior.

The family has set up a GoFundMe to help with the unexpected cost.
