Larry H. Tschaekofske

Age 72, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully July 8, 2025.

Preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Marles; brother-in-law, Tom Keeler; sister-in-law, Cheryl Tschaekofske. He will be sadly missed by wife, Nancy; sister, Myra (Dennis) Trusty; brother, Loran; uncle, George (Kayleen) Nodland; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Larry grew up on a farm in Halliday, North Dakota. He graduated from Concordia College and embarked on a fulfilling career as a respiratory therapist, serving with compassion and expertise at Children's Hospital and Lakeview Hospital. Even after his retirement, Larry's dedication to helping others continued as he volunteered his time at Lakeview Hospital, spreading joy and kindness to patients and staff alike. A true farmer at heart, Larry found immense joy in nurturing his garden and sharing the fruits of his labor with others. He also devoted time to the Oak Hill church garden, where his love for nature and community flourished. With a big heart and infectious sense of humor, Larry was known for his gentle teasing and ability to light up any room with his laughter.

Service Tuesday, July 15, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Woodbury Lutheran Church – Oak Hill Campus, 9050 – 60th Street North, Stillwater with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Fairview Cemetery.
