Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. LaVerne died peacefully at Augustana Health Care Center in Apple Valley on February 19, 2014 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by former husband, Max Tharp and firstborn daughter Karen. She was cherished by family and friends. She is survived by two sisters, Janet and Sharon; three daughters, Deb, Terri and Pam; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Shauna, Michael, Jennifer, Brenda, Janelle and Jessica; and 13 great grandchildren. She will be interred at Monticello Riverside Cemetery near her parents and other relatives.
