Lena Marie Hanson-Phillips

Age 46 of St. Paul

Passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2026. Lena enjoyed life. She was full of color - from her hair to her clothing. She loved laughing and sharing dad jokes. She enjoyed spending time in nature but preferred floating down the river on a tube. Lena loved animals, especially cats. Her hobbies included swimming, camping, crafting, crocheting, and reading. She loved playing a good card game with friends and family. Over the last few years, she dedicated herself to healing with meditation, art, and journaling. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Lena is preceded in death by her grandparents; and friend, Amanda.

She is survived by her children, My'a (Jermel) Mims, McKayla (Francisco), Koda (Ethan), and Phoenix; mom, Kim Hanson; dad, Scott (Tiffany) Phillips; grandson, Mylo; siblings, Rachel Phillips, Sonja (Jason) Johnson, Kevin (Ashley) Speigl, Helen Hanson-Maddix, and Carson Phillips; partner in life, Sarah; father of her children, Curtis Hall-Mims and Delante Turner; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Lena's Life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 3rd at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, with visitation beginning one hour prior.
