Devoted husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa
Age 87 of White Bear Lake, passed away April 21, 2018. Preceded in death by daughter, Patti Bakken; son-in-law, Richard Chase. Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Sally; children, Judy (Tom) Messina, Steve (Robin) Brandt, Karen (Kip Russell) Chase, son-in-law, Ross Bakken; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Lou was a longtime member of the Twin Cities Musician's Union. Special thanks to HealthEast Hospice, the Veterans Administration, Southview Acres Care Center, Dr. Theresa Wollan & staff. Memorial service 11AM Friday at ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Rd, Mahtomedi, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials to HealthEast Hospice & St. Andrew's Resource Center preferred.
