Mao Thao (Khang)

With broken hearts, we share the passing of a beautiful soul, Mao Thao (Khang), age 42, who passed peacefully on the morning of March 4, 2026.

Mao was born on May 8, 1983, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Zhang Blong Khang and Seng Thao.

Mao was a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Tzu Pheng Vang; her beloved children, Gaonou, Adam, and Kayla; and many cherished family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Seng Thao, and her stepmother, Ka Xiong.

Mao was a hardworking and success-driven individual who never hesitated to share her love with others. She carried herself with humility, compassion, and kindness, always thinking of those around her. Mao lived life to the fullest, embracing adventures and creating joyful memories with family and friends. Her warm heart, bright spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Mao's beautiful life-gone far too soon-on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Bradshaw in Stillwater.
