Margaret "Marge" Zimmerman (Sporer)
Age 70 of St. Paul, Minnesota; passed away on October 11, 2022

Margaret Zimmerman was born on January 25, 1952 in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Max and Mary Sporer.

Margaret was direct, honest, and loving; she had no filter and never minced words, but was open and warm and gave her love out freely. She worked hard in her career as a Custodian, Boiler Tech, and many other various positions at Honeywell. In her free time she was a fruit farmer, her jelly and pickles are family legend. She loved her pets, karaoke, cards, bingo, her harmonica, and, of course, her Minnesota Twins! She loved her family dearly and was affectionately known among her eight grandchildren as "Grandma Goodie".

Margaret is preceded in death by her beloved husbands James "Jim" Becker, and Cyrus "Cy" Zimmerman; and her parents Max and Mary Sporer.

Margaret is survived by her children Jake (Hilary) Becker, Julia (Brandon Deml) Becker; step-daughter Jennifer Marshall; and an honorary daughter Michelle (Pat) Schuster; her eight grandchildren Max, Emma, Robert, Brandis, Mark, Elijah, Malik, and Angel; siblings Max (Sue), Geregory (Judy), Guy (Leah), and Jon (Lori); along with many nieces and nephews.

Services for Marge Zimmerman will be held on Friday, October 21 at 4:00 PM at Bradshaw (1078 Rice St.) with visitation an hour prior.


Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, alongside her husband, at a later date.

Memorial preferred to her family.
