DiCastri, Mark Albert
29, of Minneapolis died on February 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Minneapolis on August 3, 1987 to Kevin and Mavis DiCastri at Abbott Northwestern Medical Center. He graduated from South High School in 2005 and joined the US Navy in 2007. He served as a maintenance engineer on the USS Blue Ridge, a ship serving out of Japan. He went to school at Normandale Community College and graduated from Dunwoody with a welding degree. He currently worked in that industry. He decided to return to school at Augsburg College for a special education teaching degree. He is survived by his daughter, Aurora Claire Hawes, age 6; parents, Kevin & Mavis DiCastri; brother, Bradley and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Saturday, March 4th at 2pm at CHURCH OF ST. ALBERT THE GREAT, East 29th St. at 32nd Ave., Minneapolis with a reception to follow.
