A Service will be held for Martin Marland, age 69 of Lakeland, on Saturday, November 10, 11:00 a.m., at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, in Afton. Visitation will be on Friday, from 4 ? 8 p.m. and one hour before service on Saturday.
Martin died accidentally on November 5, 2007 in Saint Cloud, MN. He is survived by lifetime companion, Irene M. Camillo; brother-in-law, Roy Fritsche; sister-in-law, Barbara Fritsche (Ron Pitts); nephew, Joe (Patty) Seaman; many other relatives and friends. Martin is preceded in death by son, Jeffery and mother, Emma Bailey.
Martin retired from White Bear Lake School District #624. He loved the outdoors and being at his cabin, snowmobiling and hunting, and helping others.
