Marleen Virtue

Marleen Virtue, a woman known for her warm smile and laughter, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024 at the age of 78.

Marleen was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Virtue; parents, Marvin & Eileen Olson; brother Tom Olson; and son-in-law, Fred Fueller.

Together Marlene (Oma) and Ray, built an amazing family that included their four children, Kärun Olson, Ruth Kelley, Joel Virtue, and Mark Virtue. Marleen's legacy extends to her 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory.

Ray and Marleen served as missionaries in Germany since 1980 and she loved being part of the churches there.

Marleen was an active and engaged woman. She loved connecting with friends and family on Facebook, and was always up for a good puzzle. Recently, she had embarked upon a new adventure of Learning Spanish and playing the lyre. She had also just moved back to the United States, a testament to her adventurous spirit.

Marleen will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marleen Virtue will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 2:15 PM at Roselawn Cemetery Chapel.
