Age 89 of Woodbury, formerly Chisago City and Mendota Heights

Passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Lucy; husband John Friedrich; brother John “Butch” Whelan; sisters-in-law Barb Whelan and Jan Greene; daughter-in-law Debbie Conrad.  She is survived by children Jim Conrad, Jeff (Deb) Conrad, Polly (Dennis) Hildenbrand, Scott Friedrich; grandchildren Jahna (Jasen) Haller, Theah Lawrence, Jim Conrad, Kimberly (John) Cicchese; great-grandchildren Derrick, Zachary, Jake, Jack, Will, Hadley, Hudson; sister Judy Kennedy, brother Richard (Sharon) Whelan, brother in-law Tom Greene, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be 3-7pm Tuesday, June 7 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater.  A light meal and refreshments will be served during visitation. While flowers are welcome, memorials in Marlene’s honor would also be appreciated to Shriner’s Hospital.
