Martha Lamb Hoban (Marci), 76, of Portsmouth, quietly passed away on February 11, 2014, in St. Paul, MN.
Marci was born in Elizabeth City, NC to Sam and Katherine Lamb on January 27, 1938. She graduated early from Churchland High School in 1955, and went on to attend Averett College the following fall to pursue her love of art. She graduated from ODU with a degree in Classical Art and worked as an art teacher in Virginia before moving to Minnesota. Marci continued to be involved with her craft in the art community.
Marci is preceded in death by her daughter Diana Kathleen Krage Rehberg, also of Portsmouth.
Marci is survived by children, Andrea (Michael) Minear, Tuscaloosa, AL, Michael (Elizabeth) Krage, Oak Hill, VA, Sean (Will) Clark, St. Paul, MN, brother, Samuel (Astrid Heinrich-) Lamb, VA Beach, VA, grandchildren, Matthew Minear, Jason and Amanda Krage, Liam and Haley Clark, and nephew, Oliver Lamb.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
