Passed away peacefully at home on September 15, 2015. Born in Afton, MN and graduated from Stillwater High School. Served as secretary to Governors' Luther Youngdahl and C. Elmer Anderson. Longtime member of Arlington Hills Lutheran Church and most recently a member of Woodbury Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by parents, and brother, David Berglund; she will be sadly missed by husband of 61 years, Gil; children, David (Marla) of Chicago, IL; Susan Younkin (Paul) of Foothill Ranch, CA and Blake (Karin) of Clarendon Hills, IL; grandchildren, Clare, Connor, Blake, Dirk and Samuel; brother, Harold (Laura) Berglund; sister, Audrey Rensted (Clyde); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Service Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at WOODBURY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7380 Afton Road, Woodbury with visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M. at the church. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Woodbury Lutheran Church, Union Gospel Mission or donor's choice.
