Marvin Glenn Sanderson

Age 71, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully May 25, 2026.

Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Kate Sanderson.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Pamela; children, Melissa (Jeremy Buck) Sanderson, Mike (Ramie Degenarro) Thiets, Missy Thiets, Mandy (Matt) LaBrosse and Matt (Wendy) Sanderson; grandchildren, Maddox, Miles, Murray, Finn and Clayton; brother, Mark Sanderson; sister, Elaine (Victor) Firkus; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Marvin will also be missed by his four legged companion, Bella. Bella was Papa Marvin’s girl!

Marvin devoted 34 years of his career to Andersen Windows, where he eagerly contributed to many facets of the manufacturing process. His commitment to quality and teamwork left a lasting impact on his colleagues.

Beyond his professional life, Marvin was a passionate member of the Sodbusters RC Flying Club in Lake Elmo for over 30 years. He delighted in the thrill of flying and generously shared his knowledge, teaching others the joys of the hobby. The club was a special place for Marvin, where he cherished moments spent flying and engaging with fellow enthusiasts.

Marvin also found joy in family life, lovingly babysitting and playing with his grandchildren. He had a zest for life that included traveling, golfing, and long walks, and his DIY skills as a handyman brought inspiration and lessons to everyone around him.

All memorials will be donated to The Parkinson's Foundation.
