Mary Scripps

Age 64 of Stillwater, passed away unexpectedly on April 21st, 2016. Mary lived for helping people, whether clients from her addiction counseling career, family, or friends. Her shining spirit and unfaltering positive outlook on life made her sought after for advice for all people she met, though she devoted her time and her heart to her children and grandchildren. Mary was a lifelong musician who initiated the Early Children's Choir program at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. In her recent retirement, Mary's favorite pastime was looking out upon Lake McKusick with her dog Monty. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Janet and John, and her grandmother, Mary. She is survived by her children, David (Akiko), Sarah (Adam), Laura (Lucas); grandchildren, Leon, Kairi, Julia, and Everett, as well as her former husband Bill, her dog Monty, and many other loving family and friends. There will be a Celebration of Mary's Life Friday, 7:00 P.M. with visitation two hours to prior at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Rd5), Stillwater.
