Maureen Watters

Maureen "Mykky" Watters, age 75 of Forest Lake, passed away on December 30, 2024. She is survived by her children, John Townsend, Angel Watters, Mark (Heather) Watters; grandchildren, Sammiy and Johnny Townsend, Zack, Joey and Katelynn Stariha; Marky, Thomas and Autumn Watters, Zach and Serenity; and a large extended family including her Birchwood Senior Living family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Loretta; siblings, Mike, Allen and Sharon Mahoney; her BFF Cori Grapengieser; and many beloved animals.

She lived by the seat of her pants and was always up for a road trip. Her passion and spice for life will be remembered by many. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals of every kind. She was gifted with a green thumb, and instructed anyone who would listen on how to keep her plants flourishing.

It was Mykky's wish that friends and family would gather to celebrate her life, not mourn her death; her Celebration of Life gathering will be January 25th 2-6pm at the Hanifl Fields Gathering Room, 7032 137th Street North, Hugo MN 55038
