Melinda "Linda" K. Cardinal, born March 13th, 1956, to Crystal and Melvin Cardinal. Our beloved sister, aunt and friend was welcomed home into the arms of our Lord and Savior on September 29, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Linda was a woman whose spirit sparkled as brightly as the glittering trinkets and clothing she adored. Her home was a haven of warmth and color, filled with the gentle purring of her cat, vases overflowing with flowers and shelves lined with shimmering keepsakes that caught the light just right. Family was the heartbeat of her world- birthday dinners, Sunday gatherings, shared laughter and quiet conversations were treasures she held close. Music was her passion and whenever a familiar tune played, she would dance with effortless joy; whether in the kitchen or at a car show with her beloved Brad. Everything she loved- cats, family, Brad, dear friends, flowers, sparkle and dance-woven together to make her life a radiant celebration. Linda will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and her deep caring and love for all who knew her.
Those Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory include her sister Carol Christenson (husband Kevin); brother, William Cardinal; nephews, Peter Christenson (wife Kelsey), and Tyler Christenson (wife Heather); great niece, Amelia; great nephews, Jack, Jon and Derek Christenson; her boyfriend, Brad Aschittino; and many dear friends.
The family would like to thank Linda's doctors, nurses, surgeons and care providers for all of the wonderful care during her cancer journey over the past 17 months.
A celebration in remembrance of Linda will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear, MN, with visitation half hour prior to the service at 10:30 AM.
