Passed away on May 31, 2016. Survived by wife of 69 years, Beverly; son, Darryl (Pat); daughter, Bonnie (John) Serpico; grandchildren, Tony, Michael, Michelle, Melissa, Tim (Lynn), James and Madi; and brother, Jerry (Fern). Melvin was an active member of the VFW and American Legion and was a past Legion Commander of the Arcade-Phalen Post 577. He was a member of the 555th AAA Battalion, Sportsman Club and 40/8 Voiture 838. He loved to hunt, fish, bowl, golf and play cards. Memorial Service Monday at 11AM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street, St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
