Michael Birch

Birch, Michael L., Age 42 of Minneapolis passed away on March 14, 2022.  An urban wanderer, he captured in photographs the people and wildlife of the city he loved.  He was a dreamer, a star gazer, a beard afficionado and a mensch.  Michael had great affection for those experiencing homelessness and other challenges and provided assistance whenever and however he was able.  He was a tenacious fighter of evil, a source of light, and the sweetest of the sweet.  Michael was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth C. Birch.  He is survived by his mother, Molly C. Birch; his sisters Brandy Woodward (Matt Woodward) and Heather Kennedy-Bordeaux (Christopher Bordeaux); as well as his Aunt, Crystal Ellison; and cousin, Amy Ellison.  A private family service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to The Bridge for Homeless Youth, www.bridgeforyouth.org.
