Chickett, Michael C., Jr.

Age 75 of Lake Elmo. Beloved son of Michael C. and Laura (DePalma) Chickett, Sr. Dear brother of Pamela and Michelle Chickett. Loving "dog daddy" of Jordie Howe and the late Chloee Belle.

Graduate of Hill High School and the University of Minnesota. Retired civilian employee of the St. Paul Police Department.

Mike's friends will tell you that he was a loyal and generous friend, quick witted, thoughtful and funny. He was also a man of many interests and talents. He loved sports, nature, history, all animals, and cooking. Mike was especially proud of his culinary creativity. He was able to create or replicate an Italian feast without a recipe! (Mom would be proud!)

Besides his sisters Pam and Michelle and pup Jordie, Mike leaves behind several cousins, amazing neighbors and friends. He also leaves behind very special and loving friends: Dick Jackson, Shari Sowada and Marty Seibert who brought comfort and support to Mike and his sisters throughout Mike's last weeks.

Mike suggested that any memorials be directed to the Animal Humane Society, ASPCA, Disabled American Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Tunnels to Towers or the World Wildlife Federation.

Mike was a casual guy and requested guests wear casual, comfortable clothing to his celebration of life.

Michael's service will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Bradshaw Stillwater. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. followed by a prayer service and an opportunity for friends to share their memories of Mike at 11:00. Lunch will follow at the Eagle Valley Golf Course in Woodbury.
