Michael "Mike" John Miller

Age 66 of Vadnais Heights, MN, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 11th 2025.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pat Miller; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and family members.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 28 years, Vicky; children, Rachel (Shelby Finneman), and Casey (Michael) Orr; father, John Miller; sisters, Lisa Kelly (Michael Weaver) and Kristi (Shell) Wheeler; and his treasured nieces, nephews, in-laws, family, and friends.

Mike was born in St.Paul, MN and graduated from Mounds View High School. After studying at UW River Falls, he started his long career in supply chain management and IT at his father's company, Turtle Mountain Corporation. He worked with his parents for 26 years until the company was sold in 2000, and was a major contributor to the company's success. During this time he met and married the love of his life, Vicky. Together, they raised their two daughters, Rachel and Casey. He was a devoted and boisterous father, putting his children first in all aspects of his life.

Mike was a lifetime avid golfer and took up bowling when he met Vicky's family and joined her dad, Jerry, and brother, Erich, on their bowling team. Through these pursuits he made cherished life-long friendships, frequently traveling with these friends across the country for bowling, golf, and bourbon, including 26 national bowling tournaments. Mike's family is endlessly grateful for the love and joy these friendships brought to his life.

Above all, Mike was devoted to his family. He was a great older brother to his sisters, Lisa and Kristi. On both sides of the family, he was a favorite uncle, known to his nieces and nephews as "Big Mike." After the passing of his mother, spending time with his father, John, became a priority. They enjoyed many nights together in the den eating dinner and finding new shows to binge watch.

Mike always lived his life to the fullest, and he will be deeply missed.

A service celebrating Mike's life will be held on Friday, June 20th, 11:00 AM, at Incarnation Lutheran Church, 4880 Hodgson Rd, Shoreview, MN, with a visitation one hour prior.
